1994: "The Luigi Bosca Chardonnay ’94 is an exceptional wine; one which clearly defines what I have just been saying about progress and improvement. It is a Chardonnay (…) It’s the result of painstaking care and technique, which started in the vineyard with selective control the sun on different rows (and even vines), the method of crushing, the control of temperature, and the separation of the final must into two lots, one to be traditionally fermented… This Chardonnay offers a wine which is both young and lively outwardly and yet austere and almost steely inwardly, giving a complexity not usually found in a white wine."
