ArizuIn 1901 Leoncio Arizu founded a family business producing premium wines under the name of Luigi Bosca.

The first vines were planted in the sunny and fertile valley of Vistalba, thus forging close links with the soil of Luján de Cuyo. With time vineyards were also planted at Carrodilla and La Puntilla.

In 1933 Leoncio Arizu's son, Saturnino joined the family business, introducing not only the latest advancements in wine making but also a new generation. Today, four generations later, Luigi Bosca owes much of its success to the Arizu tradition of devotion to the land and their persistent striving "to achieve excellence in their wines" - the philosophy of Leoncio Arizu.

All Luigi Bosca wines are produced from its vineyards at Vistalba, Carrodilla, La Puntilla and El Paríso, with a combined area in excess of 400 hectares, in the prime growing region of Luján de Cuyo in the Argentine province of Mendoza.

The fertile soil was the first to be granted "Appélation Controlée" on the American Continent.
